Defeat Hag 1  jlehn3@excite.com
Having trouble defeating grunty's digger, Hag 1? Well, here's how. Dodge the lasers and wait until grunty gives you a quiz question. Get it right
and fire grenade eggs at grunty herself. Note: I used 2 cheats for this fight: Honeyking and Nestking. Then, after she goes back in, dodge the weapons again and again, and whenever she comes out, blast her with grenade eggs. Later on, she won't come out and Hag 1 (health is 2) will be your opponent now. To defeat it, launch a clockwork kazooie egg when it breaks down. Use clockwork kazooie to hop inside the digger through the exhaust pipe, and detonate it right next to one of the batteries.
Repeat the process and Hag 1 won't operate. Grunty will hop out and starts shooting some real nasty spells at you. Fire grenade eggs at her until she's defeated.

I loved this game on my Amiga 1000, but the disk got munched before I finished it. I would really like to have it on my PC. If I get my scanner working I have the origional map and book etc. and will email the map to those who want it, if you send me your email address. Like I said, my scanner is not currently working and I may have to replace it when I have the cash. If anyone has or knows where I can get the game for the PC please let me know.

Green skulls are for killing all enemies on the screen.  The gold swan in on the swan island in the
southwest.  The swan can fly you where you want to go FAST!  You need to get the turtle to get
to the swan island.  You can rescue the turtles eggs from 'turtle point' in the north, or walk the road
out of Tambry, always going south and/ east.  You'll wind up at a watchtower which is where you
can find the shell to call the turtle (note: if you save the turtle's eggs in the north, she'll give you
the shell and you don't have to spend an hour walking to the watchtower).

A great game.  Played it for months on my Amiga 500 13 years ago.

Happy playing!

Mark.

I played this game as a kid on the Amiga over and over again, I had just about everything
memorized, and I just found it on a Sega ROM emulator, and now I get to relive all the fun.
Although..I am looking for a map, just like the ole days.

Dude! you rock. I remember when me and my brother first bought fairy tale adventure on the amiga... i must
admit i was a big fan, completed in so many ways... with all the 3 brothers, sometimes i even let the first or
second get killed just to play the different brother.... i would aprreciate it if you could scan the original MAP,
the brown map with the couple of roads, from the instructions, you know... THE MAP you get with the game....
to me ...

I WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATIVE... in fact, i might even be able to send a couple of notes your way!!

I have been playing this game for some time now. It is a very compelling RPG adventure. Most of the tips that I
have seen you can figure out with a little game play. What I would like to see is more direction. Pointers on where
to find things, how not to get lost in caves or castles. When I got the game I did not have a book. I just played it. It
took me a while to leare what objects did what, and where to use them. I still do not know what the jade green skull is
used for,or where to find the gold swan. It is fun to rack your melon but then sometimes you need a lead. A little
advice. I would like to see a map of the world,(if you can even do that)and a roster of items with a discription on what
to use it for. All in all it is a fun game that will keep your attention for days. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 7 as far
as old school games are concerned. If I can give anyone some advice or answer any questions; E mail me at
kingpin_cf_69@yahoo.com                     old school gamer.
