--------------------------------------------------------------------------- As an old gamer, sega was to me a fine and unsurpassed creator of very moody games. Golden axe was one of the finest examples of hack and slash games. I have searched far and wide for a version that will work on my gateway pc, but to no avail, i cant seem to find it. The music in goldenaxe was excellently composed as well as the colors, control, and deep moodyness of its environments. I am happy to see that there are others who feel the same way i do. and if anyone would like to email me to share comments, or perhaps tell me how to find a gateway compatible copy,i would be ecstatic! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Golden Axe may seem to many people as another old computer game. But for me, playing Golden Axe is a nostalgic way to remember my childhood. I've finished Golden Axe in any possible way, and I know it like the back of my hand. I remember playing Golden Axe when the computers were: "IBM Compatible", and had the 'newest' CGA, 4 colour visual adapter. When I recently found Golden Axe in a 1.2MB 5.25 inch diskettes I was happy to see thet I can actually play ine the CGA mode... For me Golden Axe will have a warm place in my heart along with "Ally Cat", "Popcorn", and "NBA 89" Please wisit my Golden Axe page: http://www.angelfire.com/ga2/GoldenAxe --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
